๐ About Nuh
Nuh (ููุญ) is the Arabic and Quranic form of Noah, meaning "rest" or "comfort." In Islam, Nuh holds the highest prophetic rank: he is one of the five Ulul Azm (Possessors of Firm Resolve), the greatest prophets alongside Ibrahim, Musa, Isa, and Muhammad. Surah Nuh (Chapter 71 of the Quran) is dedicated entirely to him โ a rare honor. The Quranic narrative emphasizes his 950 years of patient monotheistic preaching and the salvational symbolism of his Ark. Used across the Muslim world from the Arab heartland to Turkey, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, Nuh carries prophetic gravity in just three Arabic letters.
