Hyun (현) ist ein klassischer koreanischer Vorname, der vom Hanja-Zeichen 賢 abstammt, das 'tugendhaft und würdig' bedeutet und das konfuzianische Ideal des moralisch gebildeten Menschen verkörpert. Eine zweite Hanja-Form, 玄, ergänzt die Bedeutung um 'geheimnisvoll und tiefgründig' im Sinne des Taoismus.
