📖 Sobre Ihor

Ihor é a forma ucraniana de Igor, derivada do nórdico antigo Ingvarr («guerreiro de Ing»). Levado à Rus de Quieve por colonizadores varegues no século IX, foi usado pelo príncipe Ihor de Quieve (r. 912–945) e enraizou-se na tradição nobre eslava. Após a independência da Ucrânia em 1991, a grafia Ihor — distinta do russo Igor — tornou-se uma expressão consciente de identidade cultural ucraniana. O nome evoca herança guerreira, linhagem dinástica e história da Europa Oriental.
